For a stone production customer, we coated the main distributor concrete silo using the Hawiflex®- spraying process. The bucket is used successfully in the production of paving stones and is already showing clear service life advantages. Cleaning is also easier and faster, build-up can be removed immediately by using a water hose.
Our polyurethane spray systems can be applied for complicated geometries and show their advantages where plate linings or mold cast systems are less economical or technically more complex. There are no mold costs as the material is applied directly to the component. Weld seams can also be coated easily. This is an advantage compared to plate linings where weld seams may need to be considered.
The coating is seamless. The coating thickness can be increased in the wear area and reduced in unstressed component areas. This allows us to determine the use of materials in a cost-oriented manner.
