Installation of a plate lings in concrete distribution buckets

The task: A lot of time was spent on cleaning and repairing the concrete spreader buckets in a precast concrete plant for walls and ceilings. The aim was to relieve the staff of time-consuming tasks in order to be able to concentrate on more important jobs on the production sight.

The process: After taking the measurements, we determined the required quantity of plates in standard dimensions. To straighten steps and thus eliminate drain stopping areas we chose plates with perforated metal inlays in standard dimensions that were to be cut on site. The structural rigidity of the plates makes precise cutting and fitting possible. In addition, the cast-in perforated metal insert reduces the number of required screws and thus saves time during assembly. The joints were sealed with Hawipair® filler to prevent migration and build-up of the concrete. Simple countersunk screws were used for attachment.

The result: The concrete can no longer remain on the steps as they were straightened. Adhesions have been reduced. Goal achieved!
